SEATTLE — A state crime lab found DNA of a man and a woman on a towel left with the body of a dead newborn baby in February near North Bend.

King County sheriff’s Sgt. DB Gates says the DNA profiles do not match the DNA of anyone on file, but they could help if suspects are identified.

Investigators are still hoping to hear from anyone who recognizes the towel found with the baby girl or who is suspicious about a woman who was pregnant but does not have a baby.

The newborn found Feb. 12 by the side of a road was called Baby Kimball after a nearby bridge.
