Letter: McCabe would serve district well

The Columbian
Published: July 25, 2014, 12:00am

Gina McCabe’s successful career is far advanced over her challengers. We are fortunate she is willing to serve as our 14th Legislative District representative, Position 2. Her years of experience in the Columbia River Gorge hospitality, tourism and recreation industries will benefit all of us, from Clark County to Yakima.

She is the CEO of a successful hotel that has, along with long-distance travelers, also served the hundreds of contractors and employees building the wind turbines and power lines in Klickitat County. McCabe lived in this district all her life, so she understands the agriculture, timber, energy and aerospace industries and their needs, reducing duplicate state/federal regulations and promoting job creation.

Let’s send a candidate with this experience, who is widely endorsed, to Olympia — our own Gina McCabe.
