Letter: No gain when obstructing law

The Columbian
Published: July 27, 2014, 12:00am

Since our morally upstanding Clark County commissioners decided to tout the (archaic and ridiculous) federal law classifying marijuana as a dangerous narcotic as an excuse to (do nothing) place a moratorium on its legal sales, I wanted to remind them to keep their hands in their pockets. Not one cent from the revenue and taxes belongs to Clark County, although I am sure they are brainstorming a way to get their fingers on it.

I wish to add that the countywide traffic jam July 22 was not an anomaly. It is the future norm. Who needs revenue or a new bridge?
