Letter: Van Dyke has skill set needed for job

As a retired electric utility industry executive, I am endorsing Jane Van Dyke for Clark Public Utilities commissioner, District 3.

Van Dyke’s tireless dedication as a community leader, her effective professional management at two regional nonprofit organizations, her 18 years as a past utility commissioner and the skill set she gained in her training as a lawyer make Van Dyke the best choice for our next Clark Public Utilities commissioner.

If elected, Van Dyke would be an advocate for excellent customer service, including low-cost, reliable power and water.
