Not only Super Bowl champions can get near the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Football fans in Clark County can get an up-close look at the sport’s ultimate prize next month.

The Seattle Seahawks will bring the trophy to Vancouver as part of the 12 Tour, which celebrates the team’s fans across the Northwest.

The Lombardi Trophy will first be displayed July 10 at the Oregon Historical Society in Portland.

On July 11, the trophy will be at Big Al’s in east Vancouver from noon to 3 p.m.

Other local 12 Tour activities include the following:

o On July 11, SeaGals cheerleaders, mascot Blitz and drumline Blue Thunder will appear at Leroy Haagen Memorial Park for movie night in the park, which begins at 6 p.m.

o On July 12, the Seahawks will host a Play60 Family Fest with football-related activities for all ages. The event at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas is free, but families must register at http://www.seahawks.com/community/South-12-Tour.html .

There is no word yet whether any Seahawks players will appear. Last summer, cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner visited Vancouver as part of the 12 Tour.
