Published: June 13, 2014, 5:00pm

A series of maintenance projects will close two lanes of the southbound Interstate 5 Bridge for four nights next week, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

The closures will last from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. each night, along the entire length of the bridge. At least one southbound lane will remain open at all times, according to ODOT.

The left and center lanes will be closed Monday and Wednesday nights. The right and center lanes, plus the ramp from state Highway 14 to southbound I-5, will be closed Tuesday and Thursday nights, according to ODOT.

The closures will allow crews from both Oregon and Washington to complete electrical work, bridge inspections, catwalk improvements, cleaning, striping and barrier repairs, according to ODOT.
