Compressed natural gas station opens in Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. — There are a handful of compressed natural gas stations in Oregon that fuel vehicles for private companies and government agencies.

Travelcard Commercial Fueling held its grand opening Wednesday in Eugene. The Register-Guard reports it’s the first one open to the public 24/7.

Owner John Anderson says he expects to build a customer base as more CNG-fueled vehicles take to the road.
