The Portland Winterhawks will open preseason play on Friday, Aug. 29 at a tournament at the Comcast Arena in Everett.
Portland will face Spokane at 3 p.m. on Aug. 29. The Winterhawks will follow with a game against Tri-City at 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 30, and finish up with a 7 p.m. game Aug. 31 against Everett.
The Winterhawks will wrap up the preseason with two games at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. Portland will play Kootenay at 3 p.m. Sept. 5, and Red Deer at 3 p.m. on Sept. 6.
All preseason games will be broadcast online at winterhawks.com and the team’s station on the Live365 smartphone app.
The 2014-15 regular season schedule will be released Wednesday.
