New “Dancing” lineup revealed for Sept. 6 fundraiser

The Fort Vancouver National Trust on Friday announced the nine participants for Dancing with the Local Stars, an annual fundraising event set for 5 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St.

The participants: Katie Atkins-Castillo, owner of Life Pilates Vancouver LLC; Lou Brancaccio, editor of The Columbian; J. Scott Campbell of Waste Connections; Vancouver Police Sgt. Dave Henderson; former city councilor, current county freeholder and author Pat Jollota; attorney Don Russo of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt; Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli; Patti Westby, Westby & Associates; and Dan Wyatt Jr., owner of Kiggins Theater.

The participants will be paired with a dance instructor and receive complimentary lessons from Arthur Murray Dance Studios. The “star” who raises the most money wins.

Donations are accepted online at www.fortvan.org/stars or by donating at the event.

Individual tickets are $50 and include a catered dinner, no-host bar and open seating. Reserved tables for 10 cost $600, VIP tables for 10 are $1,000, and sponsor tables for 10 are $2,500 to $5,000. Tickets are available for purchase online www.fortvan.org/stars.
