• AKS Engineering & Forestry Vancouver has added Nicole Haman to its marketing team. Haman, who has a degree in history from Oregon State University, will work with local project managers in pursuing public and private clients. Haman has seven years of experience with engineering and construction firms.
• Meredith Schledorn, who has been a physician assistant since 2005, has joined Aethena Gynecology Associates of Vancouver. Schledorn, whose career has been focused on gynecology and women’s health, recently moved back to Clark County after a 15-year hiatus.
• Darcy Altizer, vice president of membership services at the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, has been named the new executive director of Southwest Washington Contractors Association. Altizer will be charged with growing and maintaining the contractors association’s membership and program development.
• Attorney Jamie Howsley has been added to the board of directors of the Responsive Leadership Institute. Howsley has been a practicing attorney since 2001. He has developed a comprehensive knowledge of land-use, governmental affairs, environmental and real estate development law. Paul Montague is executive director of the institute.
