Amanda Knox has been writing book and play reviews for her local paper in Seattle.

West Seattle Herald publisher Ken Robinson told KIRO-FM Knox offered to cover local theater last summer, and since then she has written nearly a dozen articles.

Robinson says, “She’s an intelligent person with knowledge of the theater and plays and she has a nice touch.”

Knox is a West Seattle native who studied creative writing at the University of Washington. She spent nearly four years in an Italian prison after she was convicted of murdering her roommate in 2007 in Perugia, where she wasstudying. The conviction was overturned on appeal in 2011 and Knox returned to Seattle. The conviction was reinstated earlier this year.

Knox has maintained she is innocent of the crime.
