Sip & Shop raises more than $6,000 for breast cancer charity

VanMall — More than $6,000 was raised for the Pink Lemonade Project breast cancer charity at the annual Sip & Shop event at Westfield Vancouver. Guests paid $10 to taste wines and beers at the mall during the Oct. 4 fundraiser. The Pink Lemonade Project nonprofit was created in 2010 by Vancouver doctors Allen and Cassie Gabriel to help provide support for those struggling with breast cancer and survivors.
