First Friday openings

Many art galleries and local businesses celebrate this month’s art shows with a First Friday Art Walk in downtown Vancouver. From 5 to 9 p.m., visit participating art galleries’ opening receptions, events and local music. Visit vdausa.org.

Southwest Washington Watercolor Society’s Fall Juried Art Show, Oct. 3 through 11. East Fork Cellars at the Slocum House, 605 Esther St., Vancouver.
