I normally vote for Democrats over Republicans, for obvious reasons. However, in the case of Tony Golik running for re-election for Clark County prosecuting attorney, I cannot vote for Golik.
The problem with Golik is that he has no moral compass. If it becomes apparent to all that the accused is innocent, Golik still presses to convict and send the person to prison. I think anyone found innocent is considered by him to be a black mark on his conviction record.
What we need in a prosecutor is someone who cares about justice. We do not need a prosecutor like Tony Golik.
