Letter: Renew leadership of Van Dyke

The Columbian
Published: October 19, 2014, 5:00pm

You may be content and happy with the current structure and leadership at Clark Public Utilities, but the reason we have such an efficient, customer-oriented PUD is due in part to the leadership and programs Jane Van Dyke helped initiate in her 18 years as a Clark Public Utilities commissioner from 1984 to 2002.

If Van Dyke is elected, she would work hard to maintain the excellent customer service and programs in place, as well as providing new innovative ideas. She is engaged, effective and proven — just the sort of person we need in this position during a time when energy sources and providers are rapidly changing.
