Ridgefield’s Vossenberg Farm will offer a tour of its 26-acre horse stable and training facility next month to highlight its water-management practices.

The tour is also being organized by the Small Acreage Program of Washington State University’s Clark County Extension. The event will focus on practices that reduce mud, control runoff and manage manure, among other things. Vossenberg Farm was honored by the Small Acreage Program in 2005 for its stewardship practices, according to the extension.

The tour is set to last from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. Vossenberg Farm is located at 6009 N.W. 289th St. in Ridgefield.

The tour is open to the public; registration is $10. Participants can register online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/901601, or call the extension at 360-397-6060, ext. 5729. People may also email program coordinator Eric Lambert at eric.lambert@wsu.edu.
