1A Trico football: La Center 45, Seton Catholic 20

La Center made sure even their linemen got to run the ball against Seton Catholic on senior night.

Nineteen different Wildcats touched the ball as they totaled 402 yards on the ground. Leading the way was senior Max Hiller who ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns.

Hiller also caught an 80-yard pass from Wyatt Aguirre with 8:53 left in the first half to put La Center up 26-0.

Seton Catholic’s Will Noce-Sheldon ran for 155 yards and threw for 36 but was the only bright spot for the Cougars. Their offense managed only 252 total yards and turned the ball over twice.

Six senior linemen got a carry for La Center on the second drive of the third quarter before turning the ball over on downs.
