OMSI to screen WSUV students’ animation

Students from the Creative Media and Digital Culture program at Washington State University Vancouver will showcase their work at 5 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Empirical Theater at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, 1945 S.E. Water Ave., Portland.

This one-night program, “Animated Creations: Shorts from WSUV,” will exhibit 2-D and 3-D animation shorts and other animation by program students and alumni. It is part of OMSI’s Animation Film Festival, held from Nov. 6-9, celebrating animation from independent shorts to feature films. Learn more at www.omsi.edu/film-festival.

Admission is $5 or free to Animation Film Festival pass holders. Snacks, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
