Columbia Credit Union has been named the nation’s 18th healthiest credit union, based on financial strength, by DepositAccounts.com, a consumer blog that tracks credit unions and the banking industry. Approximately 6,600 credit unions were evaluated based on deposit growth, available capital and loan to reserve ratios, among other factors.
The Vancouver credit union, with nearly 82,000 members and $1 billion in assets, also was identified as a high performing credit union by the Raddon Financial Group. It was the second consecutive year that it won a Crystal Performance Award from the Raddon Financial Group, a market research firm.
