Vancouver — Gasoline prices in Vancouver rose by 7 cents for the week, to $2.81 per gallon, part of a nationwide rise in prices as refineries make their season switch to summer blends.
Washington’s average price for regular unleaded climbed 7 cents to $2.82 per gallon, the nation’s sixth-highest average. Oregon’s was also $2.82 per gallon, but a fraction higher than Washington’s average, putting the state in fifth place for gasoline prices.
The national average was $2.55 per gallon, up 9 cents, while California’s average price was the nation’s most expensive, at $3.43 per gallon.
