• Bloodworks Northwest is looking for ambassadors to greet, direct and encourage potential new donors at blood drives. Volunteers also are needed to make appointment reminder phone calls.
• Clark College Corporate & Continuing Education seeks cooking school assistants to support the program manager and instructor with shopping, setting up the classroom, prep and sous chef functions for Saturday and evening classes.
• Clark County Historical Museum is looking for publication designers to assist with the annual anthology of historical articles. Help is needed with layout and cover design.
• Lifeline Connections seeks volunteers to answer phones, track messages and file. Some work is done with a computer.
• This-N-That Thrift Store is looking for volunteer cashiers, sorters, greeters and security monitors.

• Receptionists are needed for four-hour shifts to answer and direct phone calls, file, enter data on the computer, do light cleaning and greet visitors.
• Food collectors are needed 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday to pick up donations from grocery stores around Clark County using a 20-foot box truck. Drivers and riders must be able to lift 40- to 50-pound boxes and fill out donation slips. A commercial driver’s license is not required. A commitment of two shifts per month is requested.
• Food sorters are needed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday to work in a refrigerated room sorting produce for distribution. Training is required. A commitment of one shift per week is requested.
• Spanish-speaking translators are needed for two-hour classes or for a six-week series of classes to teach cooking and shopping on a budget.
