Hayden Huddleston scored 23 points, including seven 3-pointers to help Woodland beat 2A Greater St. Helens League foe Mark Morris 59-46.
“I think if he was an NBA jam video game character the flames would come of his heels,” Buffum said. “We did a good job of finding the right spots.”
The Beavers move to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in league with the victory.
According to Buffum, it was Woodland’s first ever victory against Mark Morris in basketball.
The Beavers held the Monarchs without a field goal in the fourth quarter.
“We played great team defense,” Buffum said.
