Brush Prairie — Hockinson Middle School teachers Kim Abegglen and Gail DeLuke and their students presented 45 blankets to Dorothy Rodriguez and Mallory Boswell on Dec. 14, which will go to the local homeless population. The students collected the blankets for the drive, and donated them to Rodriguez, an advocate for the homeless who regularly hands out blankets and hand warmers to people out on the streets.
