Boys basketball: W.F. West 53, La Center 49

W.F. West 53, La Center 49 — Despite 26 points from Brody Seter including six 3-pointers, the La Center Wildcats lost to the W.F. West Bearcats Tuesday night 53-49 at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima.

The Wildcats continue to fight through the injury bug. They just got Jackson Leslie back in the line-up but are still without Jackson Wise, who is averaging a double-double on the season.

W.F. West’s Garrett Yarder had 22 points, including seven 3-pointers.

The Wildcats were unable to rebound from a 13-point first half.

Matt Baher led the Wildcats with nine rebounds to go along with eight points.

The Wildcats stay in Yakima where they’ll take on White River, ranked in the top-10 in 2A, on Wednesday.
