Hayden Huddleston scored 13 points to lead Woodland to a win at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima.

Woodland (6-2) overcame a sloppy first half against Cedarcrest (3-5), a school from east King County. The Beavers had a season-high 24 turnovers.

But Woodland cut down its mistakes and allowed no free throws in the second half, which saw the Beavers lead by as much as 15 points.

“We just had to make adjustments to our positioning,” Woodland coach Jason Buffum said. “We played a lot cleaner in the second half.”

Woodland concludes play at the two-day event against Black Hills at noon Wednesday.
