PORTLAND — Highway 26 near the Oregon Zoo was closed in both directions Thursday morning because a tree fell across a power line and blocked the eastbound lanes.
The Portland Police Bureau closed traffic in both directions so crews could remove the tree and power line safely. Some lanes were reopened by 10:30 a.m. Traffic was backed up in both directions because of the earlier closure.
All lanes were reopened a little after noon.
