Girls basketball: Evergreen 47, Mountain View 38

Moriah Doyle scored 14 points and Felicia Bahr added 13 as Evergreen celebrated Senior Night by notching its first league win of the season.

Evergreen used a 23-2 advantage in the second quarter to seize a 32-15 halftime edge.

“We started our seniors and played them in the first quarter,” Evergreen coach Jay Foreman said. “Then we put our regular starters in the second quarter and kind of blitzed them. It was good to see, especially on Senior Night.”

Emilly Moore had 12 points to pace Mountain View.
