PULLMAN — The Washington State University Board of Regents approved plans and financing for a $16 million Multicultural Center.
Students had petitioned for the center. It will be used for special events and offices for diversity leaders.
The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports regents approved plans Wednesday that will be funded through a general revenue bond and donations.
It’s one of three new projects to be funded through bond debts. The others are a digital classroom building and relocating the WSU police department.
