A Vancouver woman faces charges after an argument during a car ride led to a crash Saturday night.

Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2600 block of Northwest 104th Street at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a vehicle that had crashed.

Deputies learned that Valerie Denise Horn, 35, was the passenger in a vehicle driven by her mother when an argument occurred, Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Fred Neiman said.

Horn demanded that her mother stop the car and when her mother refused, Horn grabbed the steering wheel and caused the car to crash into two parked cars, Neiman said.

No one was injured, but Horn was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and reckless endangerment.
