SHERIDAN, Ore. — Troopers have tracked down a driver suspected in the hit-and-run crash that killed a 66-year-old woman in a wheelchair on Highway 18b near Sheridan.
The Statesman Journal reports 81-year-old Tom Mishler of Sheridan is accused in the Thursday morning crash that killed 66-year-old Connie Nickeson.
Witnesses told police his car stopped momentarily then left. Nickeson died at the scene.
Oregon State Police say Mishler is now cooperating with investigators.
