Boys basketball: La Center 63, White Salmon 44

Wyatt Aguirre scored 10 of his 19 points in the second half, and Brody Seter had 11 of his 15 in the second half as well as La Center put away Columbia of White Salmon in the 1A Trico League matchup.

A 17-4 second quarter gave La Center a 31-18 advantage, helping the Wildcats pull away.

The win moved La Center a half-game behind first place King’s Way Christian in the standings.
