Girls basketball: Skyview 45, Evergreen 27

Skyview’s quick start overwhelmed host Evergreen in a 4A Greater St. Helens League game.

Ashlee Comastro had 11 points and six rebounds for the Storm (2-0, 7-3). Skyview led 23-7 at halftime.

“They came out a bit more ready to play,” Evergreen coach Jay Foreman said.

Evergreen pulled within 29-21 in the third quarter, but Skyview outscored the Plainsmen 18-8 in the fourth quarter.

Moriah Doyle had 13 points and nine rebounds for Evergreen (3-8, 0-3).
