The Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council and the Columbia-Willamette Workforce Collaborative are seeking proposals from organizations skilled in conducting focus groups and in analyzing and summarizing the results.

Focus groups will be conducted with successful and/or longtime employees in the long-term care industry to help identify the worker characteristics and attitudes that predict retention and job satisfaction, the organizations said. The goal is to design a message to attract employees most likely to succeed and stay in the industry.

A request for proposals is available on the workforce council’s website, www.swwdcorg.. Proposals must be submitted no later than Jan. 20.
