EVERETT — Everett police and the Snohomish County sheriff’s office say they’re not aware of any homicide cases that might involve Bryan Patrick Miller, the former Everett resident arrested in Phoenix in the deaths of two young women more than 20 years ago.

Everett police say detectives are looking at past case files, but nothing has been found.

The sheriff’s office says the only record on Miller was an arrest in 2002 in an assault case.

Police in Phoenix say DNA evidence linked Miller to the deaths of the women who vanished while riding bikes.

The 42-year-old was arrested Tuesday and held on two counts of first-degree murder and of kidnapping and one count of sexual assault.

Police say Miller moved to Washington state after the deaths but later returned to Arizona.
