Girls basketball: Hood River (Ore.) 39, Heritage 37 (OT)

Jestena Mattson scored five of her game-high 18 points in overtime to lift the visiting Eagles past the Timberwolves. Hood River Valley outscored Heritage 7-5 in overtime.

The non-league game was low scoring until the fourth quarter, when both teams tallied 14 points.

Three players each scored nine points for the Timberwolves: Anna Penttila, Jazmin Lopez-Placito and Amy Gould.

Heritage attempted 30 more free throws than Hood River, but finished 17 of 44 from the foul line in the narrow loss.
