Bill Gates, with an eye-popping net worth of nearly $80 billion, has retained his title of the world’s richest person.
According to Forbes, which released its 2015 billionaires list Monday, there are now a record 1,826 billionaires worldwide, worth a combined $7.05 trillion.
Rounding out the top five are telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu ($77.1 billion), investor Warren Buffett ($72.7 billion), Zara founder Amancio Ortega ($64.5 billion) and Oracle founder/owner of Lanai Larry Ellison ($54.3 billion).
