Letter: We owe future generations a life

The Columbian
Published: March 2, 2015, 12:00am

President Obama acted rationally by vetoing the Keystone XL pipeline bill. We humans owe life on Earth and future generations a future that has breathable air, drinkable water and a more stable climate for all inhabitants. Keep fossil fuels sequestered, divest from corporations that extract and sell them, tax carbon burners and support green energy. Capture those photons, and use them to power industry and your homes and cars.
