A “Rebel Heart” is coming to Portland.

Madonna will bring her pop dominion to the Moda Center on Saturday, Oct. 17, with tickets on sale on March 23. Madonna fan club members and Citi card holders will have access to ticket presales.

Madonna hasn’t played in town since 1985, when she did two nights at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on her very first tour. (She came close in 2012, when her “MDNA” tour ran through Seattle).

“Rebel Heart,” her 13th studio album, is due March 17. Madonna worked with a range of producers, including Avicii, Diplo and Blood Orange, on the anticipated set, and the song “Veni Vidi Vici” features a guest spot from hip-hop royalty Nas.

“Diplo was like, ‘You’ve had such a long career, you’ve been around so many decades, you should kind of do a rap — but not really rap — and talk about all of the things that you’ve done,’ ” she told Pitchfork. “So I was like, ‘OK, good idea! I’ll try that.’ Then I wanted to have a guest on the song, and I’ve always been a fan of Nas.”

The singer showcased new single “Living for Love” at the Grammy Awards in February. The video for the dance track finds her playing a matador, a return to a theme from 1994’s “Take a Bow” video.
