Vancouver Police investigate shooting in central Vancouver

Vancouver Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday morning in central Vancouver.

At 6:01 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at 2601 Rossiter Lane, the Creekside Manor apartments, Officer Ken Suvada said. Officers found a man at the scene with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officers treated the man, who was then taken to a local hospital. Suvada did not know the victim’s condition.

No suspects are in custody, Suvada said.

“At this point it’s an active investigation,” he said.
