A Kalama man has been arrested and accused of luring a girl using social media.
Kalama police said Corey Lee Knapp, 26, was arrested Monday evening on suspicion of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and commercial sexual abuse of a minor.
He’s accused of contacting a 15-year-old Kalama girl and offering her money for sex and a photo of herself.
Instead, the girl told her mother, who called the police.
Police say Knapp made his advances to the girl by using social media sites and his cell phone.
The case has been referred to the county prosecutor for criminal charges.
