U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, has announced the 2015 Congressional Art Competition, open to high school students from Southwest Washington.
All high school students who live in the 3rd Congressional district are eligible. The winner’s artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The winner will also receive airfare for themselves and a guest to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Washington, D.C.
The deadline for entering the competition is April 17.
There are several requirements for the artwork to be eligible, including submitting entries electronically via digital photo.
