Hough — Bike Clark County, a local nonprofit that distributes bikes and bike safety education to needy kids, has found a new home — of sorts — since leaving what used to be the Hough Pool last year.

While the nonprofit would still like to have a genuine storefront, it’s been welcomed into Burgerville Center for Responsible Community Leadership at 1602 Main St. You can check out the space from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month, when the shop is open to visitors. Bike Clark County accepts some donations of used bikes and labor, skilled or unskilled.

Even if you’re not a bike mechanic, they promise they’ll find something for you to do. Volunteers for its bike safety school events are always welcome, too.
