SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle couple didn’t realize they had a Powerball ticket worth $1 million for three months, leaving it to almost be stolen in their car.

The Seattle Times reports that the couple bought the ticket Feb. 10, the day before the $350 million jackpot drawing. They did not check the ticket until May 14, when they discovered they won a lower-tier drawing.

A few weeks before they checked, someone had broken into the couple’s car and snatched a pair of sunglasses that were sitting on top of the winning ticket.

The pair says they are planning trips to Iceland and Paris with their winnings and will otherwise spend the money taking care of their house.
