Heading into Veterans Day, military veterans in Southwest Washington can share their stories of service on the congressional website of U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas.

The stories and photos will be displayed on her website — JHB.house.gov — this month.

As a member of Congress, “it is my duty to serve and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed for our country. This presentation is a small but meaningful way for our region to remember what they’ve done for us,” Herrera Beutler said in a news release.

Email stories and photos to share.vet.stories@gmail.com or send them to O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson St., Suite B, Vancouver, 98661.

Submitters are asked to include a short description of service branch, rank and assignment for the photos. Also, people should be sure they have permission to share photos and stories involving other people before sending them.
