Letter: Widest audience should be priority

I had the opportunity to watch a very informative and interesting Republican debate the evening of Nov. 10 only because a friend already with cable volunteered to temporarily subscribe to the Fox Business Network (one month $10 extra). I only have the on-air broadcast channels.

Why, oh why, wouldn’t the potential presidential candidates and/or their political parties want to reach all possible voters rather than those limited to expensive cable networks?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
