Camas/Washougal — Seniors and others in need in Camas and Washougal can get a dinner delivered to their homes on Thanksgiving. The local Knights of the Columbus will prepare 500 meals at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church.

Monetary donations can be made to the Camas-Washougal Thanksgiving Dinner Fund at Riverview Community Bank in Camas or Washougal. Donations of turkeys can be dropped off at the church, 324 N.E. Oak St., in time to be unfrozen by Tuesday night. Pies have to be dropped off by 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. The Knights of Columbus group also is looking for drivers who can be at the church by 11:45 a.m. to deliver the meals.

If you know anyone in Camas or Washougal who needs a meal, call the Inter-faith Treasure House at 360-834-4181 or Al Schmid at 360-835-7802 and provide the number of people in the household, their address and phone number.
