Applications accepted starting Monday for forest summer jobs

The Forest Service will accept applications for summer season jobs in 2016 in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest beginning Monday and continuing through Dec. 7.

The jobs will be in specialties such as fire prevention, timber, recreation, fisheries and archeology. Job stations will be in Amboy, Toutle, Randle, Trout Lake, Carson and Vancouver.

Job opportunities on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest will be advertised beginning Nov. 30 online at https://fsoutreach.gdcii.com/outreach.

Applicants will apply through www.usajobs.gov.
