Pumpkin Patches, Oct. 2

Bi-Zi Farms, 2 to 5:30 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through October. Nighttime corn maze: 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Bi-Zi invites visitors to romp through the pumpkin patch and corn maze, bale pyramid and hay maze, meet farm animals, try the roping station, take a wagon ride and take two shots on the Pumpkin Launcher. Joe’s Place Farms, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays through October. Joe’s Place’s pumpkin patch offers 35 pumpkin varieties. Pumpkin Lane at Pomeroy Farm, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, 11 to 4 p.m. Sundays, through Oct. 25. Visitors can take a milelong hayride along Pumpkin Lane, which is populated with more than 100 pumpkin people,” on the way to the patch. Velvet Acres Gardens, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through October. Also known as the Vancouver Pumpkin Patch, Velvet Acres Gardens gives visitors the opportunity to take hayrides to the pumpkin patch every Wednesday afternoon and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
