OREGON CITY, Ore. — The Oregon City Commission has voted to dismiss City Manager David Frasher, who had been on administrative leave since August pending an investigation into a non-criminal complaint.

Mayor Dan Holladay says the commission decided on Tuesday to release Frasher, who was named city manager in 2010, from his position because it had lost confidence in him. The motion to dismiss Frasher takes effect Friday.

Holladay would not provide further details on the reason for Frasher’s release, but he says the complaint filed against Frasher did not factor into the commission’s decision.

Tony Konkol took over as city manager after Frasher was placed on leave. He will continue working in that role until a new city manager is appointed.
