Letter: More names erupt on the horizon

The Aug. 31 story reported “Obama will rename Mount McKinley.”

Mount Hood was called Wy’east by the Multnomah tribe. Let’s get President Obama to rename Mount Hood to Wy’east and see how that plays? Imagine the fury to follow of his continued political correctness so close to home.

Which brings up Louwala-Clough (the Klickitats’ name for Mount St. Helens) and when she may erupt again.
